I just began to learn how to play golf a year ago, therefore the only place I've been is to the local golf course. Even then, it's few and far in between because I just don't have the kind of money needed to play every weekend.

Has anybody else gotten the chance to play on a prestigious course, like the ones that the tours play on? My dream is to go down to Pebble Beach and play a round someday.

Yeah, Pebble Beach is an awesome course. St. Andrews, Augusta, Pinehurst No. 2 are historic courses I'd like to play.

My home course, Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, has been featured in quite a few rankings. Such as Golf Magazine's Top 100 You Can Play (It was ranked 37th, Pebble was in the Top 3 I believe), Golf's 11 gems by Golf and Travel, A Top 40 resort cource by Golf and Travel ( ranked 20 in the entire US, see http://www.travelgolf.com/golfandtravel/top40.htm ) and other rankings that I have forgot. :) But, its a really nice course and one of the best in the country.

Sure my golf club is within the top in the world. Actually President Bush (the father) is a member of the same golf club and we have many pictures of famous players at the course (Babe Ruth, and many actors). Its a lovely golf course called Mid-Ocean Golf Club (M.O.C) and if you're ever in Bermuda you should definitely play!

Um I have play St. Andrews (the new one), Royal Portrush (sp?) and a few other big ones in Scotland / Ireland. My brother has been to Pinehurst with the local junior golf association (I was suppose to go but it conflicted with my plans that year)..but they were not allowed to play No. 2.

Other then that my uncle is a member at Glen Abby and we have yet to play that course. I'd like to play Augusta but I dont think that will be happening anytime soon.
