View Full Version : Where's Mutombo going?
The trade deadline is nearing, will the lowly Hawks make a move? Mutombo has been the subject of trade talks all season long. Here's what I ask: should the Hawks trade the veteran center and completely re-build or keep him? Personally, I think it would be smart to trade it to a team who is already established and just needs a center to compete with some of the big men out West. This way, the Hawks could get some young, talented players for the future.

So Philly to definitely win the East now or what? In a big time trade, they just got Dikembe Mutombo and forward Roshown McLeod from Atlanta for Toni Kukoc, Theo Ratliff, Nazr Mohammed and guard Pepe Sanchez.
What do you guys think of the big trade?
It really helps the Sixers in the short-term (championship run), but they lost Kukoc and Ratliff, two big men. Granted, Kukoc hasn't been playing all that well this season, but the loss of both him and Ratliff will make their frontline quite thin. Plus, Mutombo is getting up there in age, although he showed he still can play in the all-star game. We'll see how this interesting trade works out...
