well so much for a stanly cup run, now, its just a matter of how many games the aves will win it in.there is no way there can be a better team to enter the play offs than colarado, i mean come on. its like steven segal just got jet lee for back up, in case he gets tired of kicking someones ass .detroit, no goaltending, devils to inconsistent,mario is one player and even though he made a conciderable impact on the club its npt near enough for a ligitimate run.ottawa may give them a run if hossa can keep the knee healthy and yashen shows up for the playoffs( for a change)any way i`m still pissed of at bobby clark and i think that clark and quinn should meet at center ice and square off, mano a mano. ha ha .i think quin could take him.if not , domi can sucker punch him.

And now to get Rob Blake, I don't know what more they want. They arguably have the best Defense in the West, and possibly the NHL.

I wouldn't say Jersey is too inconsistent... but if you think they are right now, they will undoubtedly step it up in the playoffs.

At the start of the year, I predicted a Toronto, Colorado final, and although that might change now (the Toronto part), I feel as strong as ever that I picked the correct team to go all the way this year.

But I agree about Detroit -- Too old.

Senators -- never seem to show up for the playoffs (never mind Yashin... the whole team!)

Toronto -- not good enough defense

San Jose -- opposite of Detroit -- no experience... and selfish

Stars -- their time is done

Blues -- haunted by memories of the 2000 Sharks

Sabres -- actually, they will be strong contender

Jersey -- still have the best D in the league

Colorado -- 2001 Stanley Cup Champions... it's all wrapped up for them in a big bow!!!
