View Full Version : Problems for Super Mario
I heard today that the nagging back aches for Lemieux are coming back to affect him, even though he has already said he will play through this season and next. He says he will be taking more games off, especially when there are back-to-back games on the schedule. Not good news for Pens or hockey fans. :(

Actually, he's been complaining about his back for a while now... a few weeks at least... the first I've heard of him sitting out, though.
Hey, he scored the game winning goal a few nights ago, and if he needs a break or two, that's OK.... I'm sure he will be fine... I hope so.
This was expected -- there would be a down time... at the start, he could run on adrenaline because of his come back and the crowd would be pumped... now, it's died down a bit and the adrenaline is not as high as before, so the physical soreness of playing every day is coming back.. it was expected... he'll be really strong next year, I think...
Well i hope so he is one of my favorite players ........

We are talking Lemieux here guys. Ignoring his back aches for a moment, he is still complaining of the same old, same old, back when he retired. Back to his back. He can complain now. Is he going to fire himself? Is his coach going to bench him? Are his team-mates going to complain? Ah, to be able to play for one's self!
