I think you should add a curling board. We can talk about different model brooms and the type of wood we like on the broomstick. I like a good cedar broom myself but the old one in your garage will work fine. Marc, is this possible?

Just put it in the "other sports" section. That's what Marc would tell you to do.

Some sub-topics would be good too, like "The Brier" ect :) LOL

I realize this is an old topic, but just came across it, originally looking for hockey, but ... curling is no joke. How many have tried it? Hey Marc, a link to Canada :). But, the US of A has curlers! Did you even know that? They do quite well too. Many of you may laugh, but it is a serious SPORT, not $ millions involved, but takes more 'precision' skill and knowledge than hockey, football (college or pro), or basketball (college or pro), all put together. As a Canadian from the prairies, Manitoba by name (anyone know where that is, except as being Lee's home province in a seemingly laughable country?), and a past curler (past because of injury), I resent, by otherwise informed and knowledgeable posters, the allusion to a curling board being a joke. It may be a joke to every day and/or big city, Americans, but, many Canadians would not be laughing with you. :(

Were you really kidding Paul, or just too embarassed to admit you weren't kidding at all?

Is there a smilie for disgusted?:D:D:D

I wasn't being disrespectful CanFan, but Paul is joking. If he says otherwise now, its just a farce. At the time he posted, he was joking.

Furthermore, don't take everything so personal and start resenting things.

What a pity it was a joke, because curling is a serious sport, in many countries. Its not as easy as it looks, and the parties aferward are great. :) I was only stating an opinion, a serious opinion to a joke.

Added to another thread, responses have been: I take things too 'personal', am 'resentful, 'sensitive', and I should 'grow up'( this one is so rich, I love it).

So much for not worrying about whether others agree with me, or insulting someone, huh, Marc. :D:D
