Finally some intellegent conversation!
Being as I'm a Dallas Stars fan the only place to talk hockey is on thier website...and some of them just don't have a clue! They think the Stars should be in first place every year, all year & win every cup and if they lose a game or two they want to trade the whole team!
Besides they keep calling it ice hockey.. IT"S JUST HOCKEY!

However, I wouldn't say that all of us are "intelligent hockey fans" .... most of us are, though! :)

However, anyone that posts here, I am SURE, isn't as dumb as the fans you described in your first post. Yeah, that's pretty dumb.

Let's change this into a thread about your home team, since you haven't been able to really talk about them normally.

Can the Stars overtake the hot Sharks this year? How many more awesome playoff runs will The Eagle lead his team to (probably a lot because he's from Manitoba ;) ).

Also, officially, I think it's "ice hockey," because there is also "roller hockey" and "field hockey." ...however, when you're on an NHL discussion board, I agree -- it's just plain 'ol HOCKEY!!!
