Duval signed with Nike. Duval is the only other player, besides Woods, that has been ranked No. 1 at any point during the last three years. If Duval turns his game around, this could be a great deal for Nike.
Also, Nike has Notah Begay III, who is a very golfer.
Nike Golf is slowing growing to be a major force in the golf world. Jordan made Nike known and Woods is making Nike known in the golf world. Nike knows how to pick them. :)
Yeah, I would agree that besides Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods is really Nike's diamond endorser. Now, with Duval, it certaintly won't hurt!

Not only can Nike pick good people to sell their products, but they produce GOOD PRODUCTS.
I thought Nike getting into hockey was the stupidest idea ever, but when it came down to it and I compared a Nike and Baur hockey stick, Nike ruled.
This winter, I got some Nike golf balls with a brain of their own ("spin control," the box said)... not sure how those will work, but I bought the most comfortable golf glove I've ever head also this winter, made by Nike.

Yeah, I agree.
They make great gloves, shoes, apparel, balls, and I have yet to see there equipment.

...just an after-thought when you guys were mentioning Jordan, Woods, and now, Duval... they also had the best name in the NHL when they first entered making hockey equipment in Sergei Fedorov... now, since his comeback, they dressed up Mario Lemieux in Nike head-to-toe, except for (currently) his skates, which are being specifically designed for him by Nike...

Yeah, Nike really makes good products. Kudos to the workers they hire in their clean, working environment.

Well, despite whether you like it or not, that is a part of business and major production corporations do whatever they can to keep expenses low.
And they are not 'slaves', to say that is to disrespect the history of people in this country whos ancestors were actually slaves. These people aren't bought and sold, they are paid, they are not in chains, etc etc etc. In some cases, I'll agree that it could be considered not fair, but until someone calls it illegal, Nike isn't doing anything wrong.

Geeze, you guys take this stuff way to serious. I was only joking so I dont need to hear 3 different people tell me differently. Even if I wasnt joking, whats the big deal, its not like you own Nike or something. And I think my spontineity(sp?) is a good thing. :)

Exactly -- I don't really care... I just wanted to say that I thought you were serious.
I've always said that the worst thing about the Internet and message boards and chat program is that you can't tell the TONE in which a person TYPES something... that bothers me, and I image everyone, at one point or another on their e-lives :)

Well, I don't really care too much. But, maybe you should try a smilie here or there so that we know your not accusing Nike or something outright. Just a smilie at the end would probably have tipped me off.

I don't think it was a very smart (or funny for that matter) "joke" to make and I would suggest he edit it out of that post before someone comes by and gets seriously offended.
I stopped using Nike years ago. Their Tiger Woods line is way too expensive, you can find equally good products for half the price, though some of their stuff is nice.

Sorry, I didnt know my words were powerful enough to ruin your day. Americans are too sensitive to things, not me though. I loved the movie White Men Cant Jump, I was not "seriously offended" by it either, cause its true. I will not edit my post, and I hope nobody else does cause.

I had put nasty comments here but then I decided it would be best not to stoop to your level. Whether you choose to edit your post is totally up to you. It certainly hasn't ruined my day, my suggestion was to you or the mods/admins to edit your post.
