TRADE DEADLINE

I love trade dead line time. Its like waiting for santa to bring your team a cup . as the deadline approaches i,m always glued to every sports channel to get the latest update. will the hated habs improve ?( hope not).Will ottawa get even better( can,t see anything missing right now). Will the avs make anymore moves, that is an interesting prospect in itself eh?As far as my leafs go i think housley would fit in nicley, he has the drive and desire for the run to the cup and that is what i like in a player, not a pay cheque for playing , but a cup ring to show for a career.67 was just to far back to remember and i did suffer through all those ballard years. yes!!! i, i should say we for all the leaf fans, do deserve a cup. lets here from all the die hard leaf fans, who do you think the club should go after ? and who do you think we should dump. personally , i think sundin has worn out his welcome and even if he is the leader in the points department , he isn,t a motivator. we nead fire, hot molten fire.lindros would ignite nicley. peca too.oooooooooo yeah!

I don't think the Leafs require any moves at the deadline... maybe another defenseman like Housley, like you said, but nothing major.... this is a good team. They will be good in the playoffs.

i do live in canada, i,m from nova scotia but live in quebec right now. and i will be tuned into ctv , and all the other stations.
hey, to bad about selane eh, go figure.oh well maby he can recover quicker than would be expected. it dosen't seem to bother lombardi, according to an earlier interview.

Yeah, I saw him say that a few times, also... I think a reason why he's cool with it is because Shields has a slight shoulder problem as well.

At least it doesn't seem that it will turn into a Wells/Siortka/Chicago/Toronto-type deal :)

I think this Trade Deadline will be just like last years...sucky, but i think it will be because of Bobby Clarke, i bet he'll back out of another big trade before the deadline

I love the trade deadline too! I loooooovee trades (insulting them and prasing them ;) )!!!! I predict that Lindros will go to the wing before the deadline... and that Tkachuk will go......

Man!!! can lindros look any worse? I do think in spite of the concusion facteur, lindros will make an emmidiate impact on any club, for the good.
But if carl is handling his press , he shuould fire him right now.He is really making him look bad. i didn,t think that eric could look any worse , but i was wrong.
A quote from him right now would be like " ooooooo.kaaaaa, i give up I really want to play for the wings or colerado! o.k. bobby? will you trade me there? please? "
what a joke.If clark is monitering this site ( and im sure he is) trade him for christ sakes. give the n.h.l a break!!!!!

It would be funny if philli trades Lindros for Turgeon and then st.louis signs him to like a 3 year deal worth 28 million, and then Lindros plays terrible, and gets like 1 goal in 40 games, and then st.louis puts him on waivers and then T.O picks him up off waivers and then he plays really really good...but that won't happen, i just like making stuff up
