Albert Belle: Time to Call it a Career?

Looks like Albert Belle might be done. I've always liked the guy, although I know some of you haven't. :)

Hopefully, he will get better and get over this and his hip will allow him to play, but it sure doesn't look like it right now.

Well, the guy certaintly wouldn't win a popularity contest in his career. If he is not able to play and/or is in pain, I say retire, I mean, he's got the money.

I am one of those who doesn't like him. He had been a pretty good homerun hitter in the past but if I were him I would retire. He has the money plus many people just don't like him. I of course am one of him. I remember that everytime I got one of his baseball cards I would give it away for free.

Part of me wanted Albert Belle to retire for the betterment of Major League Baseball, but another part of me wanted to see him stay so that he could rot away with the Orioles. :)
