The Ravens signed Grbac... now what do you think happens to Dilfer? I have heard no rumors, but he'll be looking for somewhere where he can start or have a shot at starting.
Neither QB is very good or Pro Bowl material, but neither is really all that bad. During the Super Bowl, Dilfer's passes were flat and off target, I don't know if that had any affect. It's kind of disrespectful to get rid of your Super Bowl-winning QB like that, IMO.

Yeah, I agree on both cases. Neither of them is that good or that bad. But, that was kinda weird for the Ravens to do that.

I think Dilfer knew he was a goner in Baltimore pretty early on. The guy won games but was hardly spectacular--everyone knows the D made the Ravens go. Still, he's got Super Bowl experience, and that will make him valuable to variety of teams. He's wind up somewhere for sure.

I think it is hularious to listen to Dilfer speak about himself... This guy thinks he did a decent job for the Ravens, but you can find about 30 other starting QBs and a handful of backups that are WAY better than he is.
The fact that the Ravens had one of the worst players and one of the most important positions should speak volumes about the talent on defense there.

No doubt Dilfer was far from great, but his QB rating this past season was 76.6 (in 8 starts), higher than a dozen other QBs, including Troy Aikman and Brad Johnson (who's supposedly the piece Tampa needs to win a SB). He showed he can be solid in the right kind of team, he just isn't the type to put a team over the top and carry them to wins. There are worse crimes.
