I really hope that Jordan doesn't come back. He's a legend now. Why come back? Really, it'll just ruin his image. The comeback in the mid-90s was ok, but there were real reasons for it. Stay with the executive stuff MJ, you're not doing too bad at it so far.
I agree that Jordan should not stage another comeback. He went out the way he wanted and should not ruin that by coming back. Work out the Wizards' problems from behind the desk, MJ!

FYI: The NBA is the only pro sport in North America that has written rules against owners playing in the league that they own the team.
Therefore, Mario Lemieux (as he already has) and Wayne Gretzky could come back and play in the NHL even though they own teams... if he wanted to, George Stienbrunner could play for the Yankees (:)), but MJ cannot play in the NBA, so long as he owns part of the Washington Wizards, or any other NBA team.
Wait.... I just read the ESPN report, and MJ realizes these limitations... so I'm just informing everyone that else that he'd have to sell his portion of the Wizards "which he does not want to."

I'm not the only guy that would LOVE to see Jordan back, right? I like the Wizards/Bulls/Celtics... and only the Wizards because of him. I am sure he has a little left in the tank and could still show guys like Iverson and Kobe how you play the game. :)

Say it ain't so Michael.
Nothing would sadden me more than to see him come back and ruin his legacy and see Kobe Bryant (since I hate the Lakers) just light him up like a Christmas tree.
I think Michael sees Mario Lemieux's come back and says to himself, "why can't I do that?". Well Mario's what? Like 5 years younger. There's a difference.
I would be shocked and disappointed if he did come back.

Actually Jordan is about 2 1/2 years older.
Mario was born on 10/05/65 and MJ was born on 2/17/63.

Okay, my bad then.
I still don't think he should come back though. He went out the way a lot of great athletes don't get to go out. On top. And a ring to boot.
I love MJ, but I hope he doesn't come back. As many have already said, it would tarnish is legacy. No one wants to remember him or see him go out as an average player. I'm not saying he will be average, but I doubt he will be a magical as he was in previous years. Don't do it, Michael. :(

I agree with everyone. He went out at the top of his game and it should stay that way. Why must every star who retires come back? Just stay retired and enjoy life. He should stick with his current job and make a legacy that way.

No kidding! -- who else but MJ and John Elway (lately, anyway) finished their career as champions? Elway lead his team to consecutive Super Bowls before retiring, and not only did MJ finish with a three-peat, but he also got the game winning point his final game for the championship... awesome.
