What teams won at the trading deadline? Express your opinions on who made the best and worst deals in this thread. For me? I would say the Ottawa Senators (coincidentally, the Sens are my favorite team :) ) improved the most with Mike Sillinger and Curtis Leschyshyn... they really made some big moves to say to the league, "we're sticking around for a while!"

as it stands the habs were robbed (again) the difference will be the first round pick and who they have to select. i was glad to see that the picks were reversed when it was announced, first it was reported thaat the habs would get the 2nd round pick and the caps were getting the 1st. i said`" there crazy" then they reported the mistake. ifelt a little better but not much.the habs are not fooling anyone, there just interested in dumping salary, not putting a quality product on the ice. "borrowing from peter to pay paul" so to speak.if i were a hab fan i would really be disapointed, but i`m not . i was a little disapointed the leafs didn`t do more . aki berg? is that his name? i seem to remember the draft he went on and the hype about him but i guess if your not producing , your not in the lime light. oh well , we will see how it goes, who knows maby he will jell with sundin . someone has to be able to put the puck on his stick instead of the other way around.

I thought the Coyotes won.............They only traded Tkachuk who kind of stinks but they got one damn good guy......Handzus and two very good prospects Taffe and Nagy(well kind of) AND wat really suprised me the most was the 1st rounder.......man the BLues lost alot.....now they are really gonna sing the blues...........

Sorry, Peck, but I think I would take the Blues in the playoffs this year, or any year from today and 7 years from now.

Hey -- anyone see the Habs game (or highlites of it) yesterday!?... Zednik got a goal and two assists... maybe that GM guy in Montreal kinda knew what he was doing after all!!!.... a little too late, though. :(

i have watched nagy play for the halifax mooseheads when he played with alex tanguay, he was always close in his style of play and some say better, we know what alex did for the aves, i think that nagy will turn out to be the bigger part of that trade.i would just like to see them back in winnapeg.
