I can't believe Major League Baseball made team websites go all cookie cutter! They all look the same except for logos and colors, its sick. :)
Take a look http://www.yankees.com and http://www.redsox.com or any other team website, I don't like what they did at all.
I dont like it either. The sites now all look similar to each other. I miss the diversity they used to have.
Yeah, I don't like it, either, but I've seen worse. I guess this makes way for fan sites to really be different and unique from all of the standard and "cookie cutter" as you said it, MLB official sites.

NBA.com does that, too -- it sucks.
The NHL & NFL web sites are the best!

I agree, the team pages should have their originality. Although, I do look at it from one point of view. MLB actually helps some sites, like the Atlanta Braves, I'd go to their site and they'd have outdated news from a week or two ago. So in this case, it's a good thing MLB did take over.

I hate the NY Rangers page. They have a dumb flash intro and when I hit skip, it takes maybe 8 seconds before it finally starts to load the page. The Mets page is decent but I like the old design.
