This may have been asked before, but I'm curious. What is your guys' favorite places to visit for sports news on the net?
Mine would have to be the big popular ones, cnnsi.com and espn.com. I remember Fastball a while back, it was the best for baseball news. But now it went kaput.

Sorry that I haven't been more active in posting new threads in this forum that I moderate, guys, but very good question, Brandon, although it may have been asked a LONG time ago... :)
My favorites are ESPN.com (http://espn.go.com) for current events and FOXSports.com (http://foxsports.com/) for historical stats when I need them to write my Sports Central articles! :)
I also like CBC Sports Online (http://cbc.ca/sports) for the Canadian perspective on sports, as well as info on "canadian-only" sports, like curling and exclusive analysis on the Canadian NHL, NBA, MLB, and CFL teams.

ESPN - http://www.espn.com
CNN/SI - http://www.cnnsi.com
Yahoo! Sports - http://sports.yahoo.com
I stick pretty much to the big guys. :D
And in the future:
eSportsSection - http://www.esportssection.com
SportsForums.net - http://www.sportsforums.net
My sites. :D

If you strictly looking for info, Yahoo Sports is the best.
It's by far the fastest (no slick graphics) and it has the
most thorough stats.

I heard FOX Sports is having major financial problems and they are likely going to close down their web site. That leaves ESPN.com, CNNSI.com, Sporting News, and Sportsline, mainly. I visit Sportsline and ESPN.com the most.

Damn, I'm surprised to hear the Fox Sports is having financial problems. Is it just the website, or the whole network?

Well, both, but they plan to get rid of the web site.

I didn't know that. I was just starting to like Fox Sports Net. I hope that the company can stay alive somehow.

I like them too. Then again, every time I turn on that channel, it is just some dumb sports event or exercise show. At least with ESPN you most likely see a good show or a decent game whether it be college or pro.
Anyone ever visit SportsTalk.com? They are "re-organizing" and have been down for like a month now, at least, after claiming to be down just a few days. Anyone miss that site? They were a previous SC SotW.
