She had an awesome round (obviously  ). She was putting really well and set new LPGA scoring records.

I can't believe this is the first time a woman has broke 60. I mean, I knew this was the first, but I am suprised it too this long. Thus far, in competition, it has been done by three men on the PGA Tour and two men on the Buy.com tour.

On the PGA Tour, Al Geiberger, Chip Beck and David Duval have all shot 59 in official competition. Doug Dunakey and Notah Begay III had shot 59 on the Buy.com Tour, although Dunakey's round came on a par-70 course.

Saw the highlights on SportsCenter - yeah, pretty incredible performance by Sorenstam. Maybe she is on her way to be the women's version of Tiger? She certaintly has the talent.

Well, her being 30, its probably a little late for her to be on her way to becoming the Tiger of the LPGA, but she is one of the better players in the history of the tour.

Are you saying this just after today or because of her past (I know nothing of her past... first time I've heard of her). However, if you're just talking about her last round, I'd say you are correct because she now holds ALL the LPGA scoring records for one and two rounds.

I say that because of her past.

She has been on the tour for 8 years and has ammassed 24 victories. As we know, she also holds records. :) If she just had been a nobody shooting 59 that has only won one or two tournaments I wouldn't have said she was one of the best. But, Annika Sorenstam has a solid past.
