I'm posting this in other because it affects two sports and not just one.

The Yankees re-acquired top 3B prospect Drew Henson and they have offered him a contract worth $18 million to forget about football. He is likely to be a top pick in next years draft and it's a tough decision for him I'm sure.
I am not really sure what he is gonna do... I mean its like choosing between two rights?
One one hand: you can be a part of the New York Yankees, one of the greatest franchises in all of sports with a very, very rich history.
One the other hand: He can start at Michigan State and be a top pick in the NFL draft and from their probably be a start QB for a team and maybe even a great NFL QB depending on how it plays out.
He has a tough decision to make. :)
Yeah, it is a tough decision. I think he needs to consider two things: which he enjoys more and which he thinks he has the greatest chance for success in.

I suggest Baseball over Football for a few reasons. He is a great player in both sports, however I feel his baseball skills are very well primed. Check out this article that was written on my minor legaue baesball website on him: http://www.topprospectalert.com/TPA/12260101a.htm
Also, people who play baseball almost always can last longer in the game. Everyone knows the average baseball career can outlast a football career on average. So he choose baseball and play or maybe 15 years if he is really successful or football and play maybe 8. Three of those 8 will be learning the NFL.

He signs with the Yankees and his 'memories at Michigan State will stay close to his heart.'
Possible Yankee Infield within a year or two:
1B Nick Johnson
2B Alfonso Soriano
SS Derek Jeter
3B Drew Henson
Awesome!

I am very glad that Drew Henson went to the Yankees. Now my buckeyes have a better chance at beating Michigan. That and the fact that Cooper is gone.
I think he made the right choice in basebal they don't get injured as easily........
The Michigan quarterback, in line to be the top pick in next year's NFL Draft, agreed Saturday to a $17 million, six-year contract with the New York Yankees.
"To me, there would be no greater goal than to help win a World Series for the New York Yankees," Henson said. "I will keep memories of the University of Michigan close to my heart."
Henson, 21, is to report to the Yankees on Monday and will likely spend much of the season at Triple-A Columbus, Ohio -- where Michigan defeated Ohio State 38-26 last November in what Henson called the highlight of his college career.
Walking away from his senior season as the Wolverines' quarterback for a chance at becoming the Yankees' starting third baseman in 2002 was "the biggest sacrifice I will ever make," Henson said.

Yes. I'm sure this will be the better choice in the long run.I can't wait to see the Yankee infield in a couple of years. I'm sure it will be very exciting.
Go Purdue!!!
