Are you guys going to use this : http://sports-central.org/community/boards/calendar.php like maybe put up sports events or something??
or no?
Ravi
The primary purpose for the calendar is to keep track of member birthdays (you can add your birthday in your profile). However, you do bring up a good point about us adding important sports events and possibly even notes about the site like when the newsletter comes out, etc.
Yay or nay?

Yeah, thats probably a good idea. Although the only reason I'll be looking at it is for the birthdays. :)

I didn't realize that I had the privledge as a Senior Moderator to post public events on the calendar, but I found out that I did, so I did!... I have posted a lot for 2001, and a few all the way through 2004 (currenlty the furthest year in advance that you can post an event)! :)
Check it out, and if you feel I'm missing something or I have a wrong date somewhere, feel free to private message or e-mail me! :)

Wow, cool. Nice job Lee. I'm sure I won't miss any big sporting event for a few years now :)

Peck... Marc & Nate set up the calendar... all I did was add the events.... but if you knew that and are asking me how long it took me to put the events up, the answer is that I'm not sure... A LOT of time flies FAST when you're having fun! ;)

Oh, I'm sure that must have been a lot of fun then....
Peck's question was good. How long did it take Marc and Nate to set up the calendar system or did it just come as a feature of the new vBulletin?

No, it came as a feature in 2.0. But I give credit for all of the graphical work and the header. Colors were customized by myself. :)
