Who do you think will win the AL Central? With newly acquired Wells, if he pitches well, I'm taking the White Sox.

I'm taking the White Sox also. Wells doesn't need 20 wins in the first half like last season, but he would better benefit the team by playing consistently all season (he's always been consistently not consistent). If Wells can do that, he'll be a major force in Chicago's playoff drive.
I hope the Sox can continue the success they had last season (except the fact for bombing in the playoffs :uhoh: ).

I would pick Sox anyway. They did well last season and the Tribe lost Manny and the rest of that division isn't so great.

I think if the Indians don't have as many injuries as last year, use less than half the amount of pitchers they used last year (it was like 30 some), and play as a team they should be able to stay close to the sox.

That is true but I feel that the Blue Jays and the Red Sox have the best chances for the Wild Card.

I'm taking the Indians in a close shootout between them and the White Sox. Both have great offenses, but I just have a gut feeling in the end that the Indians will be on top. Although with the injuries to the Indian's pitchers, it could easily swing the other way.

I think the Tribe will come back and win the Central Division this season. It's hard to say it, because I'm a Twins fan.
Whatever the case may be, I'm glad that the season is going to start soon.

Looks like it's between the sox and the tribe. I think the team that has more healthy players will pull it off.
Go Indians!

I'm pretty sure the Sox could pull it off. I like Wells and Indians don't have Ramirez.

The Soxs have one of the best farm systems in the minors and have helped their pitching with Wells. They will more then likely repeat here.

I honestly don't think that the Kansas City Cheifs (a football team) could win the AL Central...maybe the Kansas City Royals have a better chance.
Just look at the poll and you'll see...

:) LOL
Actually the Chiefs would have a better shot in my mind than the Royals...
White soxs hands down but the tribe is close.........

I have to agree. But I think that this league will be the closest race. After that the NL East and the NL Central might be close too.

Ok, I was just kidding. I wouldn't base predictions on one game.
