what is the fastest time ever recorded for the 40 yard dash?

Good question... an even BETTER question would be "how long is a yard"!?... is it the same as a metric Meter?... sorry... I'm Canadian... everyone in the world uses METRIC except the US of A...

...anyway, if a yard is a Meter, then I have no clue because no one in the modern day in the Olympics or anything runs 40-meter races... only 100, 200, 400, 1000 meters...

Whatever I can run a 40-yard dash in is definately alot slower than the record.
