I cant imagine what possesses these people to do these type of things. I guess it is a mob mentality.

Not surpising. Fans, college students in particular, are notorius for doing things like this. I just assume they get so anticipated and excited for their team, they just lose it when they lose.

And think about it. When you are with a big crowd, you are likely to do more "naughty" things than you would by yourself. You just follow other people and before you know it, you are being extremely destructive. I heard Arizona fans were doing the same thing.

It doesnt really suprise me at all. Lots of students started a riot here in town after the Purdue women lost the championship to Notre Dame. I guess people just look for any occasion to cause trouble. Seems stupid to me.
