Strickland just went from being a $10 million dollar starter to a back-up. And it's not like he's any worse. It's called more depth, folks. Just look at the Blazers line-up now ...
PG = Damon Stoudamire, Rod Strickland, Greg Anthony SG = Bonzi Wells, Steve Smith SF = Stacey Augmon, Scottie Pippen PF = Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp C = Arvydas Sabonis, Dale Davis Their second team could definitely be playoff material in the East with no problem. Yet the Blazers have done NOTHING. NOTHING. Why haven't they proven themselves yet? And how much MORE money will Paul Allen have to spend before bringing a championship? On a side note -- Did anybody get to see the 4th quarter disaster from last year? That was fun :-) How the heck can a team that good NOT be able to score?

Yeah, it's scary how deep this team is, now they have added Strickland. If they can put two and two together, they will be unstoppable.

I wonder why the Lakers didn't go after Rod Strickland. You would think Strickland would be better than what they have now at the point with Ron Harper, Tyrone Lue and Derek Fisher.

Hehe, so what's up here? The Blazers now have lost 3 straight since they signed Rod Strickland.
Hmmmmm. And 2 of them against Vancouver. C'mon, I know Wallace's gotten thrown out of at least one of the Grizzlie losses and the Grizzlies have been playing better since the announcement that they're probably leaving Vancouver but still Portland should handle these guys. |
