Default Question

What is the best thing Obama has done as President so far? And I use the term "President" loosely! Please, bring something that is valid at a "presidential level" not a Chicago Al Capone level!

It's going to take more than 9-10 months to fix all of the problems of the last administration. I think the biggest thing he's done is change the tone of America's international diplomacy to one less stone-cold. The Nobel Peace Prize (though I admit shocked me) was awarded on this basis.

Unemployment is still getting worse, and he claims that the economy has gotten better? LIE!

Obama and his administration likes to "cook the books". It is like going to the car dealer, buying a vehicle that usually costs 50K, but one was able to get it for 40K instead. The person then thinks that they saved 10K? NO,...Wrong, the truth is, they spent 40K. This is how the Obama administration talks,..like an idiot who spent 40K on a car claiming he "saved" 10K!

Nobody wants a government health care plan that can't even produce flu shots,...courtesy of the Clintons for making that a government run operation!

Has has us in a whirl-wind into a depression just like Woodrow Wilson, and FDR. Our dollar is worthless, and the polls indicate that Obama is doing terrible.

What better way to have government control; destroy the people's livelihood!

Depression will happen within a year to a year and a half,...remember that Detmurds said it too! Unless, We The People stand up to this Evil Tyranny?

Well, the GDP did grow last quarter which is the gold standard to measure the economy. And as I heard on the news the other day unemployment has never decreased when the GDP has not increased.

No, previous administration's policies have the economy in a free fall Obama has just been left to clean up the mess Bush and Clinton created by letting the financial sector do whatever they wanted to without money.

You sound much like Obama's campaign that he is continuously running even as president. The Obamatard wants the country to be broke, he is doing it by breaking corporate America and also by spending more than any other president in history! You cannot even count to a trillion, so you have no concept of what it really is.

Umm ... unemployment is always the LAST thing to get better in a recovery. Like when the recession started, employment didn't take a hit until later. It has a delayed effect...

Did you watch the markets today? Kind of went "tit$ up" for some reason. The hope for better things to happen has passed, and it is obvious that the guy that is in our White House is a fraud, a liar, and a communist. I didn't say it,...he did!

Well Marc, both contested gubernatorial races were won by Republicans yesterday. Virginia and New Jersey both voted for Obama. Is this an endorsement of his presidency?

And just think: You're leaving out the Democrats' fifth consecutive defeat in New York City mayoral elections, and gay marriage dropping to 0-31 at the ballot box with its loss in Maine.

And doublee: The relationship between GDP and unemployment after the last two recessions is instructive, and from a Democratic perspective, frightening: The early-'90s recession ended in March of 1991, yet the jobless rate continued to climb through June of 1992 - for 15 months after GDP growth resumed. After the last downturn, the delayed reaction was even longer - 19 months (the GDP stopped shrinking in November of 2001 but joblessness continued to rise through June of 2003).

If it happens anywhere near that way again ...

I don't think there's much of a connection. It's a stretch at best.

You go ahead and keep thinking that way Marc. You really think that government is going to take care of you,...think again. Government,..when large, is a failure, and always will be. If people keep wishing for something for nothing,...the New World Order will be at everyone's door step very soon along with a world or North American currency and the United Nations guarding our streets. Obama is not a president, he is a promoter of the New World Order. He is Evil.

As for me,..I am an not an American,...I am a Retired American Veteran with 21 years of service. You should try it sometime!

Guess you have to come up with something, Detmurds. Since Obama hasn't sacked any national preserves or attacked any defenseless, third world sovereignties, I guess that means he's done nothing. Which clearly exposes him as a Communist, right? You Republicans sound so ridiculous when you open your mouths.

#1, I am not a Republican!

Obama did say that the real war to fight was in Afghanistan right? So why is he so hesitant to win it? ...Get real, and get informed my friend!

Who is NEXT?

Me.

Detmurds, I envy you. If only I could feel so self-assured, nothing would ever bother me. How do you do it?
