Plus I'm not sure active doesn't also entail being logged in but not necessarily posting.

You're probably pretty close to the truth here. I'm not sure if the main board activity counts as part of the MB activity though. Take a member like Brad O.

Under his name there is a number (currently 16,726) yet under his post count it reads 601. When you click on his name you don't have the same features as "regular posters" such as the last time he was on here and what forum he was in. He's a writer for this site so I'm not sure what "counts" and what doesn't.

If you simply went by the # of members who post on the message board that have been active in the past 30 days (meaning 1 post at the very least) I'd suspect the number to be very low. Probably 40-50 members...tops. And most of those would be "one and done" guys or pretty close to that.

Having said all of this, I'm sure nobody cares.

I thought we got out early today cuz of voting but it wasn't to be.

Maybe I should read my memos more carefully. Now I'm tired as hell. I "shut it down" at around 12:00 thinking I was almost done.

Tarkus 03-04-2008 05:47 PM

I'm sure it all worked out, Buck, since the kids shut down at 11:00 for the same mistaken reason...:P

They never "turn it on"...

Officially my fault cuz I didn't get the last word on the early release but I can't keep up with these fools and their ways.

You vote at my school...in the gym. The gym is under partial renovation (think I mentioned this in the WTF thread) and that led to some logistical nightmares and then blah blah blah. Thought we were getting out early cuz we didn't have a place to have 6th period lunch or a place to have kids get picked up (due to construction vehicles) but someone figured it out.

More than likely...someone just said to hell wit it.

I don't know and don't care.

I just teach til they tell me to stop. Nobody is listening anyway.

This is how each day ends anyway (shortened or not)...

Iraq approves execution of 'Chemical Ali'

"The Chemical's Between Us"

The Chemical's between us
The coward that lies between us
Hang him till he's dead
The Chemical's displaced
There's no more joyous case
Than him swingin' till he's dead
(Bush 12/7/99)

That's a pretty good response time there Tark: got the news and then found a song to tinker with.

You should probably specify that you're talking about Bush...the rock band.

Dubya or #1 couldn't come up with that. :P

That was a side experiment I was keeping an eye out for....if someone actually questioned if either one really said it or not. Folks can get mighty protective of their party members. :D

4th day of not smoking...

For those curious, yes...you do have urges to kill idiots around you, more than usual I should say.

I wish I would have thought of this title for a science project:

"Crystal Meth. Friend or foe?"
