I think that the Gerber signing definately had good intentions - I mean, look at what the hell he did for Carolina. If he carried that into Ottawa, perhaps that would offset the loss of Chara. I'm sure they'll regroup and be right in the thick of things in February and March. But just remember that Ottawa is a choke team. They'll dominate the regular season and lose in the 1st or 2nd season. I guess it's the Ottawa curse???
