Default The Last Phone Booth in New York City

Article (and more pics): http://www.scoutingny.com/?p=852

This is sad and yet interesting. We forget how times change in front of our eyes, and how things we relied on in the past are now just relics.

Case in point, phone booths. So antiquated and yet luxurious. A private, enclosed place to have a conversation? Whoa! Those were the days. Now people just blabber on in front of everyone. Some loudly and obnoxiously, like this broad at the airport last month when I was returning from Chicago. Ugh.

Anyways, are we better off with this? Will you all miss these fading staples of yesteryear? Hell, I haven't even used a landline phone in years ... and what else is going the way of the phone booth?

Of course the last phone booth in NYC also means we are counting down to the last hooker to turn a trick in a NYC phone booth.

Ahhhh memories...
