Default Cowboys vs. Giants Thread

Two NFC East rivals battle in Big D. The Cowboys might be without T.O. and have stumbled into the postseason. The Giants are playing with renewed energy after almost knocking off New England. Who ya got?

I cannot believe this is the first time they have ever met in the playoffs.

Wow That is hard to believe. I'll say the Boys will win one game. The other NFC playoff game shows to to be a much better natch up.

I have to give the nod to the Cowboys, but the Giants play pretty well on the road. It should be a decent game to watch, for those able to do so. I'll read about it if I am unable to see it.

A lot is going to depend on how healthy TO is for this game. He was a big reason the Cowboys won the first two times as 4 of his 9 catches against the Giants went for TDs of 20 yards or more. The Cowboys passing game was downright anemic against the 'Skins without him out there.

While the Cowboys won both games the Giants were still in the game well into the 3rd quarter of both.

I am kind of surprised the Cowboys are a TD favorite without knowing the status of Owens for this game.

Gotta go against everybody with a Giants pick. T.O.'s status could change the outcome, but I think that the Giants are the team on the rise and the Cowboys are falling. T.O. will play, but we don't know if it will be as a decoy, or a legit No.1 receiver. Noone in Dallas would ever admit that the Washington loss hurt their chances Sunday, but losing like that to a division rival hurts. It'll be a good game either way, I think.

Sadly, I have to go with the Cowboys....I think they just have too much for the Giants. If TO doesn't play, it might be different, but the 'boys are just a better overall team.

I just hope the Cowboys don't win the SB! I don't want them to break the tie between them, the Steelers and my Niners for most SB wins

I am sorry guys but you seem to give the Giants no respect at all. That was me a week ago, but I think you at least got to give them a chance. I am not saying they will win, but it is definitely a possibility. I've said it most of the season and I will say it again, the Cowboys have a tendency to play down to opponents I.E. Buffalo, Detroit, Carolina. if I am wrong and its a Cowboys blowout than I will come back Sunday night bowing my head, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I think the Giants have a real chance at this. Dallas has played lousy lately. But I think Dallas slides by. T.O.'s status is key.

The Giants real chance exists in whether or not Tony Romo is more inconsistent than Eli Manning, which he has been for the last few weeks or if they are buying tickets for Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Scarlett Johansson, Kiera Knightley, Natalie Portman, and anybody else that Tony Romo might ever be interested in.

Saw that too - and that's a pretty low figure considering that the Cowboys finished three games ahead of the Giants, plus beat them twice head-to-head, both by double digits.

I'm sure its due to most people being Cowboys haters... I think the Cowboys will win, but I would vote Giants....
