My issue with fantasy baseball, and with any fantasy sport other than football, is that you really have to pay close attention every day. Now, granted, I feel those who pay that kind of SHOULD have an advantage, but I felt like in NFL fantasy, I could snatch waiver players and keep a leg up (not that I've done well in the past two seasons) just on Sunday nights. You have to keep an eye open for rotation schedules and injuries every single day in baseball and hoops. If someone can convince me that Fantasy Baseball can be won without checking on it every day, I might be convinced to join.

Draft a team with just enough pitchers to fill all the spots and pick position players that play every day. You don't necessarily have to check your team daily that way. Just be sure to remember who you have and if one of your guys gets hurt, replace him in your lineup.
I placed 2nd in a league that I'd forgotten I was in a few years back.
