I think we need to create a contest with a fabulous prize for the poster of post #300,000. We're at 297,000 and change. Granted, we may reach this in 2012 on our current pace, but hey.

Any ideas for a contest? What kind of prizes should I award? Gift certificate? Cash? Strippers?

Sorry about the design issues, Nate's server went down and the design was linked to it. I am working on fixing it, should be done soon.

Just realized we surpassed 300,000! Dang, missed it by 60 posts. Not many forums have that many posts, it's a real testament to you all and this site's staying power. Well done, here's to 500,000!

As a ghost, I can see the past, present and future. At the rate you're going, you will hit 500,000 in the year 2652. Although the person who posts No. 500,000 ends up getting banned because he eventually calls out Marc's great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandson for doing a poor job running the community and banning anyone who suggests otherwise.
