Old Tradition New Place.

Notre Dame and Army will play at Yankee Stadium in 2010. I am suprised that this will be the first non baseball game held there I figured it would be something more prestigous. Like a winter classic or something. But should be interesting non the less.

I'm sick of Notre Dame. They're not relevant anymore. And they're not going to compete until they lower their academic standards, and they won't (not that they should). The way they got players in the '80s and in the past no longer exists.

I think they will be back to a top 10 or 15 team. Starting possibly this season/ If they don't win 9 or 10 games ill be suprised. I think they have a huge season coming.

Are you talking about the hockey thing? I'm not sure that'd be "more prestigious" then a Notre Dame game against anyone, and even though it probably won't be a competitive matchup, ND has a long tradition of playing the service academies and I would think that Army, being in West Point, NY, has a decent NYC following.

And everyone, don't try to out-run on-sentence me. The paragraph above shows what you'd be up against.

That sounds like an interesting challenge. Who can create the longest coherent run-on sentence? Of course, with those writing chops, it's no wonder you got the Slant Pattern column! :D https://www.sports-central.org/sports/slant_pattern
