***PRELIMIMARY*** Week 1 college football pick'em thread

Hey guys,

With the other thread asking about the pick'em contest, I thought that until I get the green light from Marc to post the offical thread for it, I would give you guys a sneak peek at week 1's games so that you could think about them. DON'T POST YOUR PICKS HERE! THEY WON'T COUNT! WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL THREAD! Do feel free to discuss, although the games I picked are not subject to change.

Is this open to anybody? Wouldnt want to step on any toes being a rookie player and all. I love college football and I love college pick'em. I'm in a pick'em league right now called cornhusker football but I am very impressed with this message board and would like to do this one as well.

Will this be a straight up pick em (i hope), or will there be a spread involved (boo, save it for Vegas)?

The college pickem contest is straight up. Anthony, the NFL moderator, runs two separate pick'em contests for the NFL: One against the spread, one straight up.

And we are ready to roll on the college football pickem!
