Can Branch replace Moss?

Big news is the trade of Moss to the Vikings. Two questions, does Moss save the Vikings' season, and two, can Branch keep the Pats from skipping a beat? I think the answer is no and no.

Branch is five years older and I doubt will have the same impact as before. That said, if you lower expectations, he will be a good addition to the team.

The Vikings' problem is their QB, honestly.

The Vikings' 2010 season was beyond "saving" the soon as their schedule - which forced them to take the league's steepest rise in SOS based on the 2009 final records - became known, the day after the '09 regular season ended.

And at the opposite extreme if the scheduling continuum, how do you like what the Buccaneers - the NFL's biggest class-droppers in strength of schedule - are showing thus far?

can Branch replace Moss.

The answer is no, but he can be adequate enough to keep the Pats in contention while they try to rebuild. The Pats knew that nobody can replace Moss, they also no they have Tom Brady and his favorite screw randy

in other news, the vikings will not finish above 500 this year.

Apparently Bill Belichick in 2010 holds a different view from that taken by Andy Reid from 2000 to 2003 - namely, that even old speed, or undersized speed, or cheap speed at wide receiver, is better than no speed at all.

No, and they are not expecting Branch to replace Moss, they are looking to Brandon Tate to take Moss' spot as the big play receiver.
