Scottie Pippen returns to Chicago

It's now offical. Scottie Pippen is coming back to the Bulls to help them get back into the post season. I think this is a great move for Pippen and the Bulls, both can really feed off each other. He was their leader when Jordan went down, hopefully during his closing years as a NBA player, he can be the mentor to the young Bulls team.

Why the hell would you go back to Chicago? The Bulls suck and their glory days are far over. Pippen is getting nothing out of it. The only advantige of going back is that he already has a fan base there. The Bulls on the other hand are getting alot out of it. They now have a mentor and a leader. That was one of the things the bulls have been missing the past few years.

The Bulls might not be as bad as they look. Tyson Chandler is really coming along, Kurt Heinrich is going to make a good impact I think. With Pippen there and them playing in the east, a playoff spot might not be out of reach.

Good point, QBU. The East is so weak generally, if the Wizards can make a move for the playoffs, the Bulls can't possibly be THAT far off.

Pippen isn't going to win another title regardless of where he goes. He certainly helps the young Bulls as you guys already said. Perhaps this is sort of a consolation for Pippen as his career comes to a close.

Plus there has to be a future front office job in the works...
