Yes, octane. Of all the controversial calls made during the Super Bowl, the illegal block call on Hasselbeck was the worst, because what they called never actually occurred. He tackled Taylor. On the first replay, which admittedly came as I backed away from the TV to go get my celebratory game-clinching beer, I thought he took out the trailing blocker with his flight through the air, too, which is what they called. They were wrong.

The thing that is confusing to me is even if he had taken out the guy who was blocking how is that an illegal block?

?? That's nice. Ref missed a call that was within 6 inches of being correct. Good enough, I'd say. Now if he could explain why he called it a TD 5 seconds AFTER this photo was taken...

All the that needs to happen for a TD is a tiny part of the ball crossing into a tiny part of the white line. That's a TD.

Im not sure that is the ball... I can't see it for sure to say. I love these photos that come out weeks after the SB...

Especially since it is not that hard to doctor up photos with paintshop these days... :lol:
