I see you've already got a get-away summer home for when you get married.

Ellis 02-28-2008 12:05 AM

I don't know how much I'll contribute, but I'm in.

Don't remind me. I was the DD for the boys tonight because I can't drink beer. I keep asking myself "how the hell did this happen to me?" :(

No 20,001 thread has street cred unless Ellis chimes in. ;)

Clarify that again:

Can't or chose not to? Is that part of that new Jenny 'lose that weight before the wedding or else' Craig Diet?

Promised to lose about 10lbs before the big day soooooo..... I'm not drinking the brew until I get about 5lbs under the target weight.

Tarkus 02-28-2008 12:27 AM

ohhh...

Then I see the hardest part you'll have to deal with is not the weight loss but dealing with sobriety. Terrifying thought...:P

Well, I'm out. Don't burn the place down.eh?

Won't burn it down but, there might be some "mysterious" holes in the walls when you wake up.

catman 02-28-2008 12:45 AM

I've been told I'm a bit indecisive. I'm not sure if I'm in or not.

Missed this one before:

Admin talked about shutting the other down & starting a new one since it fulfilled it's mission statement, so to speak.

The only real interest that kept that thread mildly interesting at times was that it had a goal. Well, here's one that has a goal too...:P

Tarkus 02-28-2008 11:35 AM

suedon1970 02-28-2008 11:43 AM

Well, well.....someone finally got ambitious enough to start another 20,000+ thread.....:P

As a betting woman, I say it won't take anywhere near the 4+ years it took the other thread to reach 20,000.....;)

Tarkus 02-28-2008 11:46 AM

Us lemmings always need some direction.

I see where Keith Richards says "Lay off the dope"
http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Co...6p.hmedium.jpg

I don't know why since he's proven it to be the best embalming method on the market...

themush 02-28-2008 03:15 PM

Great cartoon Tark.:finger:

Mr. Richards dog I presume?

Or Roger's...:P

themush 02-28-2008 03:25 PM

With those pink eyes more like Debbie Clemens' dog .

Tarkus 02-28-2008 03:31 PM

Did you do some work this morning to chip away at all that upcoming debt for the wedding?

themush 02-28-2008 03:45 PM

Yeah, my day starts around 7:30 (that's when I turn my phone back on) and ends after lunch unless I have to go to a closing.

themush 02-28-2008 03:57 PM

Nice Day on the Beach.

Tarkus 02-28-2008 04:19 PM

Steady camera hand...:P

Reminds me of when I had my shop in Northbrook, Ill. & my alley lined up perfectly with the runway of the nearby Glenview Naval Air Station. The planes would come in so low, you could see the pilots faces.

It was something else when the air show was in Chicago cuz the fighter planes would base out of Glenview. Watching them come back to land drew a crowd every time & stopped my guys from getting any work done...:P

themush 02-28-2008 04:32 PM

I think someone gave my dog acid this morning.

buckeyefan78 02-28-2008 04:55 PM

7th period I'm standing in the front of my room near the door (in comparison to my desk) doin' my lecture. All of a sudden a dog comes running thru the back door right by me, sniffs my foot, runs out the front door and out to the hallway.

I lean over and look in the hall to find one of my students holding a balloon and talking on a cell phone. She sees the dog running up to her, opens the exit and he scampers out. She turns to me and I see her shirt. It has a picture of a grilled cheese sandwich on it with a smiley face. Kinda like this one...:D...but the teeth are replaced with a grill like the rappers wear. And the caption below it says "Grilled Cheese"...get it?

(deep exhale)

All you can do at that point is make like Schultz...

Your stories always remind me of a Twilight Zone episode...

Tarkus 02-28-2008 05:17 PM

A curious thought struck me about how many threads you've started, Buck, & when I looked, it gave me 500  which I think is the limit for going back. I'm sure it's bigger than that by dates available.

In the category of "I wish", it would have been nice to have an agent to negotiate something for all that work, eh? :P

themush 02-28-2008 05:17 PM

He's chasing something around in the living room and I can't see what the hell it is?

Yeah, one that never ends.

3-5 inches of snow with some freezing rain possible tomorrow but they claim it ain't gonna start until around 7 am.

That just won't cut it.

We need to get the ball rollin' around 3-4 in the morning to even consider a snow day.

I'm gonna find me a virgin and throw her into the volcano anyway. It's worth a shot.

I do it for the love of the game. Same with teaching. :thumbsup2:

Tarkus 02-28-2008 05:20 PM

Seein' that you can't see what he's chasing & looking at your new avatar, it might be time to investigate whether someone gave you acid today, Mush :P

themush 02-28-2008 05:26 PM

You don't like the adorable Nancy Grace?

Why the hell do you have that avatar up anyway?

The last time I got a haircut the TV in there had her on.

:tsk:

I'm shocked that Confederate accent didn't make my hair fall out.

What channel was she on in 1982?

Shock value. I think she needs to be Donkey Punched personally.
