Yahoo FFL: Wide Reciever Choice
From the following selection of 5 WR's I have to pick two starters, two for the bench and one must be dropped. Any advice is appreciated.

Derrick Mason
Troy Brown
Brian Finneran
Kevin Johnson
Tai Streets

I would start Mason, for he is Mcnair's #1 guy.

If I had to drop one of those receivers, I would drop Finneran.

Kevin Johnson is going to be in an offense that is going to throw the ball around.

Tai Streets is in an offense that likes to throw as well, but is Garcia completely healthy is a big question.

Troy Brown will catch a good amount of balls, but last year his catches were for very little yardage and not many touchdowns.

So, definitely start Mason, drop Finneran, and I will let you make your own decision about your #2 receiver, because it is pretty close to a push with Brown, Johnson, and Streets.

I would list them in this positon
Johnson- could lose #1 reciver spot to Quincy Morgan
Finneran- Will be good with Vick, but Price will be taking away balls from him.
Streets- Has shown me nothin in three years to think that he will be any good.

I agree with Joey's order. Streets showed a decent amount last year when he became the 49ers' No. 2 WR, so he is more valuable than Finnerman, who will be catching from the unproven Doug Johnson for potentially half the season.

Tai Streets won't be good this year. Let me give you his numbers last year...

G Rec Yds Y/G Avg Lng YAC 1stD TD

16 72 756 47.3 10.5 47 2.2 46 5

They're not that bad, but compared to the numbers other people will be putting up, he's got nothing.
