Wsop 2004 Is Coming!

Yes, people, it is closer than you think. Sat, May 22, at the Horseshoe LV the World Series of Poker , 2004, will take place. I know it is kind of a while a way, but I was just filling you guys in.

Any predictions? I think Chris Moneymaker could easily win again, with his luck. The other 3 people I can see winning it is Phil Ivey, Dutch Boyd, or Sammy Farha.

Yeah man, that sucks. I hope that when I get older I will have the money to gamble.

It would be a dream for me to have a job that deals with cards weather it is a player, dealer, or teacher. That would be awesome. I am still keeping that in mind as I grow older, even though the odds of it are unlikly.

I'm thinking it's Ivey's time to win. He's got some poker talent. I don't see Moneymaker getting that lucky again.

Are you sure its at the Horseshoe still?. It was closed when I was in town two weeks ago and according to local newspapers, it may have an asbestos(sp) problem which will force the new owners(Harrahs) to keep it closed a little while longer.

Another person I wouldn't mind seeing win it is an old guy, Phil Helmuth. I love how cocky he is, and usually he can back it up.

Yeah, Phil Helmuth is over due for another one. He is the man and is probobly who I play the most like. As you can imagin, I talk a lot of trash.

I would like to See Howard Lederer win it, I hate how boring he is though. Maybe his sister Annie Duke, as well. Phil Ivey would rule, as well. So many good people! Julian Gardner's time is coming as well.

Anyone know when ESPN will have it on TV?

Ellis 03-09-2004 11:52 AM

Yeah, Lederer is amazing. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he won. I was watching another tornement on the Travel Chanel that he won. Did any one see in the wsop2003 when Phil Helmuth Jr. curled up into his jacket because he couldnt take Lederer looking at him? That was funny.

Hey Ellis, if you ever wanted to play on PokerStars, my name is EmpyKS.

Ellis 03-09-2004 04:00 PM

Ok, Brandon, I am on a lot. I will look for you when I on.

How often are you on?
By the way, I changed my user name. It is now "RobMiller"

Brandon 03-09-2004 04:23 PM

I'm not on too much so far. I just downloaded it and haven't had a chance to mess around with it too much yet. We'll figure something out.

Ellis 03-10-2004 02:30 PM

Ok, sounds good.

We need to get more people to join and maybe we could have an S-C Poker torn.
