All those dingers and RBIs and still batting .400, just unreal.

Really goes to show you just how important pitching is, though. The stark contrast in A-Rod's team record vs. Pujols is astounding.

Definitely agree. There's no question this Denver team, with a more experienced Carmelo and Iverson is much better. I don't expect San Antonio to come back to dominate. I think whoever wins this...

This is the homer in me speaking, but back in '05 the Spurs dropped one of the first week home games to Denver and won the series 4-1. I'm not hitting the panic button unless they lose tonight.

When A-Rod was striking out and stinking it up last season, the Yankees were in first. Now he's red hot and they're struggling. Suppose the NY fans are going to boo him in hopes it'll turn the team...

Yeah, that's as ridiculous as having the fans vote. MLB fan voting isn't nearly as ridiculous as the NBA, where a player like Shaq can sit out the entire first half of the season and still get the...

I saw Keller a few times in his Pac-10 days. He had a great coming-out party against Purdue in the 2004 Sun Bowl. He's got the tools to be special, but is a major headcase.

I'd agree with all of those, except I like Houston to take Utah in seven games. That and Chicago-Miami should be the best first round series.

Speaking of Bulls and Heat, Shaq's already crying...

Tomey can definitely recruit and coach. He had a nasty habit back in his Arizona days of running a wide open offense and building a big lead, then nearly squandering it due to conservative...

God the thought makes me sick to my stomach. Jordan never won three consecutive MVPs. Neither did Magic. Nor did Oscar Robertson. But I wouldn't doubt it.

The New Mexico-SJSU game started like every other bowl, but it was interesting by the end. Not much of a surprise, Dick Tomey went into "play not to lose" mode as he did so many times at Arizona.

That's something I love about Oden, he plays an old school style and isn't afraid to get in the trenches. That's going to make him a rare commodity once he goes pro since so many 6-10+'ers want to...
