catman will become famous soon enough

Good analysis. It appears that the playoff contenders will be the same as they were last season, with several exceptions. I think the Twins will win the AL Central (yes, I'm a fan, but they are just as likely to win the division as Chicago or Cleveland), and the NL Central will be a toss-up among St. Louis, Chicago, and Houston (don't forget all their pitching). Even the Reds, Brewers and Pirates will be interesting.
The National league should be an interesting league. The D'backs will have to play well to repeat. It looks like their major competition will come from the NL Central and the Braves and Mets.
In the AL, I think the Yankees, Twins and Mariners will win. I think the Red Sox or A's will win the wild-card and I like the Yankees to win the series. They have too much talent to miss, especially with Torre running the team.

Rest in Peace, Buck. You were truly a giant among men.
