They really didn't give a specific scientific formula for this but they have bowl games, winning %, home games, games vs. Top 25, games vs. I-AA and a few other things added in.

I still don't agree with it and that's why you have to wait until the end of the year to see what is what.

Michigan State at #4? I don't know about that.

Florida at #7? I think they have one of the more managable schedules in the SEC.

I like Washington at #1 though. FSU has a helluva non-conf schedule.

Yeah, Washington at #1 is a pretty good choice. Boise St, Ohio St. Traveling across the country to Syracuse to start the season. Then the Pac-10. They get USC early and at home at least.

I think the biggest reason they have MSU at #4 is what they mention about the structure of the schedule. Back to back at ND and Wisconsin early on.

But, UAB, Bowling Green and Pitt before ND is not the most imposing non-conference set up.

Eight of the twelve SEC teams are listed. Leaving Alabama, Arkansas Ole Miss and Vanderbilt with the Micky Mouse Schedule. Let Washington Come play any of those four's schedules and see how they like it.

I have no idea how Florida State is ranked No.3

South Carolina should be ranked No.1

Default No surprise that 50% of the top 14 are SEC teams

Week in week out it's brutal.

What's the punch line? Oh, I get it. "Mr. Douglas, Arnold Ziffle, Ebb and Ralph are all going to the University of Hooterville, Arnold seems to like this football coach on campus, name of Spurrier. Says they should be ranked No.1 thanks to him."

And a little pig will show them the way

Notice how Ohio State isn't listed? They always schedule weak out of confrence games...

Remembering all the way back into last season is kind of a stretch for today's college football fan.

You got five SEC teams in the top five. I';m really excited to see how South Carolina does this season.
