Default Drivers Test

Here's a test to see how well you know the rules of the road:
http://www.gmacinsurance.com/SafeDriving/
Average score nationwide is in the high 70s. I got a 90 because I made a couple of dumb mistakes.

I also got a 90%. The two questions that I got wrong were questions I changed the answer on. Homer Simpson says "DOGH."

Most of those questions are obvious, but there were 3 or 4 that I can see most people getting incorrect.

Keep in mind, most people are bad drivers. I always assume that the person in front or behind me in traffic is a bad driver, and take the defensive. I have seen TOO many bad drivers to do otherwise.

I got an 80%.

Three of the questions I got wrong dealt more with the wording of the answers, and how I interpreted them. The other one, well, it was just a dumb move on my part -- I got the "diamond sign" question wrong by hurrying through the test and not really thinking.

I see on the website that the list the top-five driving mistakes that cause crashes, and two of them went without being mentioned in the test (multi-tasking while driving, and backing up).

85%

Thought the school bus one was rear only, missed the safe following distance one, and had a brain fart with the diamond shaped sign.

And I TOTALLY disagree that under most conditions, 2 seconds is a safe following distance. That's just untrue if you ask me.
