Not surprised that they would pick the Mets to win the division. As a Braves fan, I expect them to finally relinquish the NL East crown, make the playoffs, AND lose in the 1st round. Please, please get rid of Bobby Cox & Chipper Jones!!!!!! I beg you!:redhot:

And, btw, don't they predict the Yankees to go to the WS EVERY year? When did they last win it? 2000? Six years, Eighty more to go

A little surprised to see the Brewers that high. I guess he thinks that Fielder and the rest of the young guys are going to blossom quickly.

Must be. They did not exactly acquire any veteran talent to suggest they would take the next step up. I think Prince will do okay this year, although he will likely strike out upwards of 150 times. He held his own in limited big league action last year. The biggest thing for Milwaukee though is Sheets needs to stay healthy, Brady Clark needs to show that last year's career season is going to be the norm from now on and not the exception, Chris Capuano needs to build on last season as does Derek Turnbow, and the young guys like Bill Hall, J. J. Hardy, and Rickie Weeks need to take the next step up if Milwaukee is going to contend this year.

Oh, and I am still not convinced that the Yanks fully addressed their pitching needs this winter.

The Brewers made a good move this year bringing Corey Koskie into camp. He may not play 120 games for them this season, but his veteran leadership will help the young pups mature a bit faster.
And, I agree. The Yankees still have some pitching woes.

The Royals still don't have much pitching. I do not see them finishing above anyone in the AL this season, although they are better than they were last season.

Koskie is likely an insurance policy. They have Jeff Cirillo and Corey Hart penciled in at third. Cirillo is at the end of his career and cannot seem to stay healthy anymore and they don't know if Hart is ready to be a full-time starter as of yet. I could also envision Koskie playing some at first if Prince falls on his face this year.
