Default CBS VS ABC Broadcasting NCAA in HDTV

CBS VS ABC Broadcasting NCAA in HDTV.

I hope this topic fits here.

I am upset again for a second week. ABC refuses for some reason not to broadcast NCAA Football in HDTV well CBS does.

Last week ABC had Texas VS OHIO STATE and Mich VS ND. This week The U VS Clemson and it still is not in HDTV.

All CBS games are in HDTV; I even heard a national sports radio show call out ABC last week for not showing the games in HDTV.

Anyone know what gives with ABC and their lack of staying with the times or should I say, not broadcasting NCAA games in HDTV.

Well, I can understand not doing regional games in HDTV, but I was very disappointed by ABC not doing the OSU/Texas game in HDTV as it was nationally broadcast. One would think that ABC would do that game in high-def especially when ESPN is showing its prime-time games in HDTV. LSU/ASU was in high-def but OSU/Texas was not.

I don't know if you bothered to check but the South Carolina/Alabama game on CBS is not being broadcast in High-Def. But, according to Time Warner anyway, the UT/UF game is to be broadcast in HDTV on CBS.
