Default Browns DB Wright in the spotlight...

excerpt:

Browns DB Wright released following chase, arrest

PEARLAND, Texas (AP) - Cleveland Browns defensive back Kenny Wright was released from jail after posting $5,000 bail following a foot chase and arrest for a disturbance outside a police station.

Wright was charged with unlawful restraint, evading arrest and possessing marijuana. Police said they found marijuana in his vehicle.

Police said they were investigating an argument in the station parking lot Thursday when the 30-year-old football player took off and led officers on a quarter-mile foot chase. He was caught in a nearby subdivision of the Houston suburb.

Well, if there ever was a reason for cutting someone, this is it....

A DB & tracked down in a foot chase? By Police??? Just pathetic...

Just wanted to bump the browns thread... did'nt really see a point in creating a new thread. WR Braylon Edwards is in studio today on the Cowherd show, it's pretty cool they have a webcam of the studio that runs really smoothly, so that way you can check out the in studio interviews.

Any opinions on Braylon Edwards? I'd put him as maybe the 2nd or 3rd best receiver in the league.

With the massive jump in strength of schedule they're taking this year, being arrested is about the only way any Browns player will be able to get in the spotlight over the next nine months or so.

It was a pretty solid interview, actually made me like Braylon Edwards a little more, seems like a level-headed smart guy. He actually mentioned the tough schedule, but didn't really have any excuses on it, seems like he recognizes it's tough. Cowherd predicted to him they go 7-9... and Braylon seemed pretty subdued that prediction.

They have the interview archived on the site, so you can podcast it if you'd like.
