Good link. Interesting to see what these guys are making. Would never expect some of them to be making what they do. Steve Blake, $4m? Didn't even know he was in the league.

The Suns may as well go ahead and trade Steve Nash now while they can still get some value for him. Good luck selling Hakeem Warrick as Amar'e's replacement to season ticket holders.

That "aging" point guard led the league in assists last season.

The Cavs (assuming they keep LeBron), Knicks, Pacers, and Grizzlies are a few teams that jump immediately to mind that would love to get their hands on Nash.

While I realize the aging point guard is still an absouloutly amazing player I also know hes only got a limited of time left before he's past his prime. If I were one of those teams, especially the Knicks or Pacers who are less likely to even be in contention this year, I would be looking for a strong young point guard.

Sure, but aside from Raymond Felton it is pretty slim pickings in terms of what is available at the PG position this summer.

The Pacers tried getting both Darren Collison and Ty Lawson for the 10th pick in the draft and neither team was interested.

The problem is teams are generally not willing to deal promising young PGs.

As for the Knicks they don't believe in developing talent they prefer to just trade for it or sign free agents.

Your right that there really is slim pickings. I think the only real options in terms of free agent PG's with potential are Nate Robinson (who proved he can have an impact during the postseason) and Will Bynum (who proved he can have an impact when his team mate Rodney Stuckey went down).

I don't run a team obviously, but wouldn't signing one of those guys and developing their skills be a lot easier than trading for Steve Nash, which is obviously going to mean trading something away that teams like Indiana and New York are going to need in the future. Draft Picks, decent players, money.

The problem with Robinson and Bynum, and a big reason they come off the bench, is they are shoot first point guards which typically do not come with a lot of success at the NBA level unless they have elite ability like AI or Marbury.

I like what Robinson can do I am just not convinced he is the kind of PG you try and build a team around. He seems to have real issues with putting the team ahead of his own agenda at times and seems to be more suited as an energy off the bench who can come in and give you 15 points.

Bynum's a solid player but would he really be an upgrade over guys like T. J. Ford, Chris Duhon, or Mike Conley?

If the Suns decide they are entering a rebuilding phase then Nash could probably be had for an expiring contract and a draft pick or two.

The one thing that would make Nash somewhat attractive is he has only two years left on his deal so if his play drops off significantly next season you should be able to deal him to a team looking for some cap relief.

Your probably right, we'll see what happens with the PG's. Trade for Chris Paul if you want a PG lol he's on the market too.

In other news, Lebron will make his decision known tommorow at 9 PM. YaY finally we can get back to REAL NBA news not all this LEbron is GOD crap.

Well, New Orleans says Paul is not on the market and if he were teams like the Pacers and Grizzlies would probably have to give up something of significance to get him.

Sounds like Bosh and Wade are signing with Miami. Nice for Wade, not sure how much better it makes the Heat given they have only two other players signed to contracts next season.

If they were talking about signing LBJ, D Wade, and Bosh than I think they can find the money to fill out that roster, since I dont think they will get Lebron, and that will make them the favorite in the east next year. Unless Lebron teams up with an all star somewhere in the East.

Boozer to the Bulls. LeBron has got to be thinking long and hard about Chicago now. Add LeBron to that team and they are easily the favorites to come out of the East.

Apparently your best bet is LBJ to Miami, I dunno tho that doesn't seem to make much sense for Lebron
