Sounds like a good time. I love stuff like that. How big does this thing get, any idea on expected attendence?

Roughly 150,000 people is the highest point of attendance during the festival.

The Thursday night concerts are the least attended, with Friday and Saturday serving as the biggest draws for individual days.

But I would say they have around 100,000 or more every single day.

Wow, that's the real deal.

Do you guys have "corn hole" in that part of the country?

That type of thing is fun at those events.

I am afraid to ask...

CKFresh, if interested you can check out the festival's website:

Country Stampede

I'm out of here. I have to go meet with a state legislator, head to a city commission meeting and then watch KU choke in the Orange Bowl.

Have a good night.

It's pretty cool mush. You should try to make it popular in FLA. It started here in the mid-west, specifically southern Ohio. It's quite addicting and it is great fun.

I'm out. I've got a meeting with the pub down the street for drinks and eats.

Take care everyone.

Thought I'd share some New Year's Eve pics from downtown Charlotte (I'm the guy in the gray sweater):

Note the computer on the right? That's where this operation is run from. Oh, and we were perfectly sober the whole time ... haha.

Any suggestions on where we should sit?
Nope, that date is the public sale. If you can manage to jam onto the server with the thousands of others looking for tickets, you've got a shot at them. Red Sox and Mets tickets are the first go, in addition to Opening Day and the final regular season game (although in all likelihood the Yankees will make the play offs so there's no telling when the final home game will be). But Interleague games are also very popular so the Reds ticket could be a little tough.

I went to dinner with a few people and my buddy brought a co-worker who tried to hit on me. No wife and I don't wear my wedding ring cuz it falls off so I guess she thought I was available.

I told her I was a teacher (so she knew I ain't got no $) and that I like to drive around town looking for cheap gas (so she knew I'm a nutcase) but she still seemed interested.

Women: Go Figure

(shrugs shoulders)

Of course I proudly told my wife when I got home. She half-laughed and now I think she doesn't even believe me.

Thank God I only gotta deal with one of 'em.
