While checking out Nigel's guitar collection....
Quote:
Marty: Do you play all...I mean do you actually play all these or...?
Nigel: Well, I play them and I cherish them.
Marty: Mmm-hmm....
Nigel: This is the top of the heap right here. There's no question about it. Look at the, look at the flame on that one....
Marty: Yes.
Nigel: I mean it's just...it's quite unbelievable. This o-this one is just ah...is perfect...1959...ah...you know, it just, you can uh...listen!
Marty: How much does this....
Nigel: Just listen for a minute....
Marty: I'm not....
Nigel: The sustain...listen to it...
Marty: I'm not hearing anything.
Nigel: You would, though, if it were playing, because it really ... it's famous for its sustain...I mean, you could, just hold it....
Marty: Well I mean so you don't....
Nigel: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... You could go and have a bite an'... aaaaaaaaa... you'd still be hearin' that one.
Quote:
Nigel: Now this is special, too, it's a...look...see ...still got the uh...the ol' tagger on it...see...never even played it ...see...
Marty: You just bought it and....
Nigel: Don't touch it! Don't touch it! No one...no one...no! Don't touch it.
Marty: Well uh I wasn't...uh I wasn't gonna touch it...I was just pointing at it...I....
Nigel: Well don't point, even.
Marty: Don't even point?
Nigel: No. It can't be played...never...I mean I....
Marty: Can I look at it?
Nigel: No.
Marty: Don't look at it?
Nigel: No, you've seen enough of that one.

Watched the Director's Cut of "Kingdom of Heaven." Highly recommended. It's over three hours long, but for the most part, interesting and enjoyable.

I love the part when the girl talks about Dubly sound. And then she does her best Yoko Ono impersonation and busts out the concept art based on the Zodiac signs.

That's classic! After Ian quits, she takes over... all her zodiac crap when they're in the airport:
Quote:
Jeanine: Uh, what I've done is to arrange a whole load of charts.
David: Wait till you see this, wait till you see this, this is so great.
Jeanine: The band's sign is Virgo, and we see it's Saturn in the third house, allright, and it is a bit rocky. But, because Virgo is one of the most highly intelligent signs of the Zodiac, we're gonna pull through this, with great aplomb.
David: Yeah. It is so clear, it really is, it's so clear...

I think quoting Spinal Tap is officially dead now... only because we've quoted half the movie already.

Agree... I was watching a Few Good Men the other night and noticed Christopher Guest played one of the military doctors. I remember reading somewhere that he is a really good actor; very talented. Anywho - maybe time to move on to Anchorman, watched it Sat and was cracking up.

Ron Burgundy: I'm sorry, I was trying to impress you. I don't know what it means. I'll be honest, I don't think anyone knows what it means anymore. Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago.
Veronica Corningstone: Doesn't it mean Saint Diego?
Ron Burgundy: No. No.
Veronica Corningstone: No, that's - that's what it means. Really.
Ron Burgundy: Agree to disagree.

You're all on your own, boston. Haven't seen Anchorman yet. Maybe if you keep quoting to yourself, we'll get to 20,000...

This is kind of random, but I guess this is what this thread is all about.

I'm trying to figure out how to save an image from a streaming video. Every time I Print Screen the video it doesn't work. Damn you technology.

I saw "The Ringer" last night... really funny. Man, this movie is wrong in every way. It's so un-PC, but a lot of the proceeds actually went to the Special Olympics - so I guess the Farely brothers can sleep at night
It's only 88 minutes or so - fun movie to check out - you'll laugh.

I ate a Pria Powerbar for lunch. Mint chocolate chip with crispy rice in it. Typically I hate Powerbars, but I guess the Pria versions are different. Anyway, it was delicious. Highly recommended.
