Bonds 660, 661 and 700 also were there. Maddux getting 300. To me it was Johnson's perfect game. Wow.

I sadly watched being a fan on the wrong side of Randy Johnson's perfect game. It was amazing.

But I'm going with Greg Maddux's 300th win. It means a lot to me as a Braves fan.

Great idea for a poll. I definitely have to say it was Randy Johnson, although I think Ichiro takes second by far. But, if it was one game, it was Randy Johnson's perfect game.

Well, being a Cards fan I have to say watching my squad run roughshod over the NL this year was the highlight for me. Pujols, Rolen, and Edmonds was a thing of beauty this year.

Ichiro .... tough record ..... even in today's game. Only Barry could have come close but he'd need 257 or so at bats. Unfortunately he walks almost as much so I don't really see anyone coming close.

MLB seasons first of all only take place in a single calendar year, so why is the 2003 in there?

....gotta be Johnsons' perfect game. They are so rare.

I am going to say Greg Maddux winning his 300th game because he might be the last to win 300 games.

Very true, and I dedicated a thread to that same subject awhile back.

Ichiro breaking the record. It stood for 84 years. Now if a pitcher had broken Walter Johnson's 110 Shutouts or Nolan Ryan's 5714 K's, I'd have said that one was more impressive.
I'll add Bonds joining the 700 club, though, also Maddux 300th win.
