How often do you use the horn of your car/van/truck/bus?

I am proud to say that in 3 years of driving, I have never used my horn on the road.

I found some statistics about this matter...

I just can't stop laughing at the .01% of "people" who honk...

I know a lot of people who honk all of the time. Then they start ranting about how stupid people are.

I don't know... I always found that annoying, especially when you don't know the situation of the person in the other car.

I hate when people honk if they see someone they know walking down the street.

Man that burns me up.

Next door neighbor's kid gets picked up every weekday at 6:30 for school. Instead of getting out of the car or using a cell phone the idiot honks and if that doesn't work honks again for an even longer time.

Here's an idea get your fat ass out of the car and knock on the door. One of these days I'm going to need a bail bondsman.

What you should do, Mush, is next time they honk, go out there in a pair of old gym shorts & open the car back door & get in. Don't say a F'n word, just glare & only leave when the kid comes out....

I'm bettin' 1 time aughta do the trick...

That's a great idea Tark. Should I wear a headband too?

I thought the impatient percentage would be higher than 20 percent.

I hate left-lane sitters worse than anything. I don't honk, though. After I've given them ample time to get over and get the message, but they fail to, I'll blow by them at about 100 ... that gives them the message.

There are people that advocate using your horn to let people know you are there. I think that doing so surprises them enough that they could lose control of their vehicle. I, myself, avoid using my horn unless I absolutely need it.

I honk, a lot. If you pull out in front of me and I have to hit my brakes, you can count on hearing my horn for the next 5 to 10 seconds.

I live in NY, so it's natural to honk.

I hate drivers in the U.S. They need to imply the same rules here like they do in Germany. You get a ticket in Germany for driving without common sense.
