I'm sticking with my preseason picks:

Colts vs Packers in SB : Colts win.

So you guys think the Colts will be able to win a big game in either Pittsburgh or Foxboro as it is looking like the AFC goes through one of those two cities this year.

Probably Pittsburgh. They are the best team right now so therefore they have to be the favorites.

Philly and New England both looked invincible at the beginning of the season, and they've both since been vinced. ...By Pittsburgh, who started the season with a shaky win over OAKLAND and a blowout loss to Baltimore.

My point is, the NFL is so much about who's hot, and who looks like surefire SB champs today often looks meek tomorrow. So I will just make an out-there pick and say San Diego.

So Madd, is this a game, or are we helping you make your bets again?

Making wagers can be like flipping a coin.

Sometimes it lands on heads well other times it lands on tails.

The team that has everything going for it and all you can read about the games says this team will kill the other and in the end they can loose.

As I was told once, do your research and "guess" against the odds makers and if you "guess" right, you win. Even when 75% of the people here picked Atlanta I only won by 1 point. I won in OT with the Ravens. Either game could have killed me and "luck was on my side" I just tried to gather as much info from the internet and you fine folks, you all could have been wrong but that is my chance and I didn't bet because of that reason only. As you saw the game could have went either way.

Is it so bad to get people thoughts about games even if it is to help one decide? It is just all part of researching and getting second ...... again I hope inside you understand why I didn't just come out and say I had this much on a game, I might have been talked out of it. Hell, I asked my neighbor whom he thought would win and he didn't know I was trying to pick a team to bet on.

I didn't want to just come out and say this much was wagered because even myself would call someone crazy or something so after the fact..... Other wise I didn't need to hear.... tuff break or I have a barn you can sleep in.

If I pissed anyone off by taking their 2 cents and using it for my betting entertainment, I apologize.

But this is a game; I am putting my money "$100.00" on the colts.
But thought this would be fun and also thought of doing over/under as well. You think picking the winner is hard! Just more fun to do here IMO but I can just let it be.

Earlier, in another thread, I went with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh losing the Super Bowl. I think I'll change that to a Philly/Pitt matchup with Philly winning.

The NFC champion will wear their colored jerseys this year ... which places Pittsburgh at a disadvantage if these two teams SHOULD meet.

Jacksonville has a heck of an opportunity and I'll call them my late season darkhorse.

If I may I'll give two predictions:

The SOLID pick - Philadelphia defeats Pittsburgh

The UPSET pick - Jacksonville defeats Philadelphia

New England Patriots. They do so many things right even with half the secondary hurt.

I'll probably regret it but:

Green Bay Packers over New England Patriots 23-21

I have imagined the ending of this game several times.

True, Pittsburgh might be the best right now, but the question is: Who is going to be the best team on the first Sunday in February?

I'd like to see 'em Stillirs win it, but I think New England will be the best team come February.
