buckeyefan78:

Good observation. The best response I can give to that is that the furor that began the exodus erupted on the NFL board, so those most "in-the-know" of the situation were most active over there. I'm sure we'll spread out in time....

No, your best Bush-esque manner would be to "stayify" the course....

P.S. in re: no consecutive postings: I don't necessarily consider this to apply when the posts are in response to separate topics... so I didn't just break the rule.... (Heh.)

(Though I did just edit this post, rather than add a third one....)

C'mon and contribute to the other forums. We'd all love to hear your opinions on everything. The Lounge is alive and well. It would be great to see all the forums as productive and active.

Welcome again. :wavey:
Like wise, I do enjoy the NBA and NHL alot but due to scheduling as far as games and my work goes I miss any games of importance to me so I don't really have much to chime in about...........except thank god Larry Coker has been canned this year. It only took 3 yrs of complaints and a steady decline in respectability to get this done. I'm sure you will see me over there a bit, I've already planed on visiting the hockey board to see what was what there

I played golf once. While everyone else was trying to hit holes in one, I hit a person. Let me tell ya that was so much more fun. I didn't know you were supposed to yell Four, I was to busy mumbling "I'm gonna miss him, alittle bit more to the left"

When you get a new PM, it may try to open it in a new window and your pop-up blocker may prevent it from opening. Just click User CP (left link on blue bar at top) and you can get to your PMs and settings.

Nothing we can do about AOL blocking our e-mails. Use another provider and check your bulk folder. Once you get activated with a working address, no more hassles.

As far as multiple posts, it's not a strict rule, but more of a guideline/courtesy you should follow. Even if it's two separate topics, keep it in one post IF you are posting at the same time; so not three separate posts all within 5 minutes.

Lastly, buckeye makes a good point about spreading your posts around. That's the only disappointing thing so far, you all gotta diversify your postings so this place can bounce and sparkle in all directions.

That or in the upper right corner where you see a Welcome....... you will also see a link for Private Messages. It tells you unread X total X just clink on that link and it will take you right there.

I like NBA and MLB but since I'm an Oriole and Sixer fan there's really not much for me to talk about. lol

PPKA,

I would be a happy person if I was into college hockey, they have the Frozen Four up in New Hampshire often it seems...

I do pull for the Twins in the Central... they have such a low payroll, but they find the way with great pitching, and good teamwork...of course it didn't hurt last year they had TWO MVP candidates besides their great pitchers...

nyg babe, not sleeping huh? Maybe I'll give it a try. lol. Actually I think its that I only come on the boards during the work day for the most part. I try to make my self stay off the computer when I'm not at work since that's what I do all day at work.

I don't go to the NBA thread because, well I can't stand the NBA. That's just my opinion though. College b-ball, now that's a different story...

Default Update on CBS board...

For those of you who still read the letters from the front:

The... "beings"... that administer the... "other place"... have elected to remove an entire thread of sarcastic humor that was generated at their expense—the vast majority of which did not violate ToS or anything else. :redhot:

Since I don't want to clutter up this board with our issues, and since I do want to cooperate with the Administrators here, I won't say more. PM me and I'll direct you to the relevant.

Oh, and do ask me about "phase three," too. You'll love it.

Just a lil humor for all my ***refugees for the holiday season...(hopefully not offending anyone with the last line).

RECIPE

Christmas Tequila Cookies

1 cup of dark brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups of dried fruit, such as dried
cranberries or raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila (silver or
gold, as desired)

Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a
large bowl,& spoon; check the Cuervo
again, to be sure it is of the highest
quality, pour one level cup, and
drink. Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one
cup of butter in a large,
fluffy bowl.

Add one seaspo on of thugar. Beat again. At
this point it's best to
make sure the Cuervo is still OK, so try
another cup just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs
and add to the bowl and
chuck in the cup of fried druit, pick the
frigging fruit off floor...

Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets
stuc k in the beaterers, just
pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the
Cuervo to check for
tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something.
Check the Jose Cuervo.

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your
nuts. Add one table. Add a
spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you
can find. Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to
fall over. Don't forget to
beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl
or something, finish
the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the
stove in the dishwasher.

* I wish you all a very safe and happy holiday...!

Thanks, Poe. I'll look for you.

Still don't know why I had to keep re-adding you as a favorite... three times? You figure no one wanted us to talk to each other, maybe?

And did you see the latest from me? (I haven't been back over to look, yet.)

Still working on that F.U.C.E.M grammar and dictionary....
